Drum Connect started in 2019 with a simple idea — music should be something you enjoy, not something you stress over.

We believe music is a way to connect — not just with the instrument, but with yourself and the people around you.

We’re not just a place to learn an instrument. We’re a space where people come together,

explore music at their own pace, and slowly grow in confidence. Whether it’s your first time trying, or something you’ve always wanted to come back to, we make it easy to start.

Our teachers focus on helping you understand and enjoy music, not just follow instructions. Lessons are structured, but never rigid — we guide you based on your level, your goals, and your pace.

Our Founder

Drum Connect was started by Zac, who has been teaching drums since 2014.

What began as a simple passion for drumming slowly grew into something more — a desire to help people experience music in a way that is enjoyable, personal, and meaningful.

Before Drum Connect, Zac organised small student concerts called Drummer’s Debut, where students had the chance to play in a band and perform on stage. That experience shaped what Drum Connect is today — not just a place to learn, but a place to grow, build confidence, and enjoy music with others.

With a background in Psychology from HELP University, Zac brings a people-first approach to teaching. He believes every student learns diﬀerently, and that good teaching is not just about skills, but understanding, encouragement, and connection.

Today, Drum Connect continues to carry this idea forward — helping students not just learn music, but enjoy the journey and be part of something bigger.
