I'm Emery, a dedicated session drummer and educator with a deep passion for nurturing aspiring drummers of all ages and skill levels. My musical journey began at the age of 7 when I discovered my love for drums, and since then, I've honed my skills through years of dedicated practice.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of genres including funk, jazz fusion, rock, and R&B, I've been influenced by legendary drummers like Dave Weckl and Larnell Lewis. Studying at UCSI University and actively gigging at venues like Rooftop Indie Groove and Zabalang, I'm committed to continuous growth both academically and professionally.

My experiences studying music abroad in Melbourne have enriched my perspective, exposing me to different cultures and traditions. This has helped me become an open-minded musician and educator, a quality I strive to instil in my students.

As an educator, my goal is to foster a lifelong love and respect for music among my students. I believe in serving as an inspirational role model by sharing my passion, exposing students to diverse musical genres, and showcasing the importance of lifelong learning and exploration in music.
